Heriot's FP Ladies Hockey Club

Founded in 1985, Heriot's FP is a friendly open club that welcomes players from all sporting backgrounds, so you don't need to be a former pupil.

We train on Tuesdays from 7-9pm at Goldenacre Playing Fields and play games on Saturday afternoons.  We have two teams: our 1st XI play in Championship One and our 2nd XI play in East Division One.

Why choose Heriot's?

Friendly

At Heriot's we pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable. We know that joining a new club can be daunting, but you don't have to worry about that here! When you join our club you become part of our community.

Whilst we enjoy the social side, we're a competitive bunch and we like to win! With one team in Championship One and the other in East Division One, you can be sure that we'll put you through your paces if you join us (in the best possible way).

Hockey is all about having fun and at Heriot's we don't take ourselves too seriously. With various socials throughout the year there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself and get to know your teammates better.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“I joined Heriot’s hockey with limited confidence in a variety of areas, in particular my skills. Yet, I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel part of the team from day one. Such a friendly, supportive group of ladies that I feel privileged to now call my friends.”
